Bad pictures but I'll take some output shots when no one is on the road. It's snowing pretty heavy up here and it's hard to tell light output at the moment

Dont' know much about wiring but have done some in the past after lots of research. If I went with the 36" XT which is 234 watts, what size fuse and guage wire would I need? Thinking about my 3 hella 700ff's. They are 55watts each so 165 watts total. Guessing I'm going to need more heavy duty wire and fuse? I thought LED's required less power?

You thinking about doing a 36" bar in the lower grill keith? I have been tossing around that idea also. What are you thinking about doing with your license plate? Sorry i can't help with wiring, i need to start researching and learning soon.

20 amp fuse should do it I think. 234watts/12volts = 19.5 amps. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but that should be good I think. As far as size of wire, I'd think 10 gauge will be plenty big, probably overkill, unless you're running a long distance.

234 watts would be 19.5 amps...so i'd say a 25 or 30 amp fuse and i would use at least 14 gauge wire...if you are running more than 10' of wire i'd go up to a 12 gauge. LEDs do use less power...but when you have a lot of LEDs in a 36" bar that power adds up...you will have 18,500 lumens coming out of that thing, the hellas are no where close to that...a 36" bar will put out a TON of light

Not sure of the specifics. I think you could get away with 12 gauge wire and a relay that can handle 234 watts. I know I just set up my 2 4" XT's with 18 gauge wire, a 10A fuse, and a generic "aux light/horn" relay from autozone. Not much draw at all.

I'll double check on the wattage and fuse size needed.

Alex do you have an inductive amp meter to clamp over the power wire to check the amps

with 2 4" XTs the site shows 18w/each which is 1.5A each so 3A total. 18 gauge wire will handle up to around 15A with a 10 ft long wire, so you're in the clear. ;)

I've been looking for something to mount to the rear, under the bumper. Something to use when backing trailer at night. Any suggestions?

Mono pods! They are tiny, discrete, and they put out a lot of light.

14 AWG is good for 25a at 194~F.
12 AWG is good for 30a at 194~F.

^^^^ Assuming you are using THHN, which is most commonly used.

Answer to the question about the poly lens:
We have achieved 90% optical clarity on the PC lens. PC is virtually unbreakable too, making it less susceptible to chipping or shattering from being hit by rocks or debris on the road! (Or a skinny-pedal enthusiast like me ahead of you on the trail lol)
