Haha - these were my original TRD wheels...I just wanted to keep them since I will either use them on a spare set of everyday tires - or else sell them since they seem to be in high demand!! Definitely wasn't going to just leave them at Discount.

I'm so glad you got them! I don't really want to be the "can I talk to your manager" bitch...but I'm really not happy with the service we got.

    Love this picture! <9 <9 <9

2.5 extended travel adjustables from down south motorsports... made to match my dakars.

    Price? Ferrari.

    :p

Nah they aren't too bad. You can use the "build a mid travel setup for my tacoma" tool on DSM's website for options.

I've barely driven it, but it feels like a truck again and not a boat. I think my nitrochargers are way past their prime

She needs a friend like Teq to work her out all the time! He just went crazy for almost 2 hours at the dog park and still gets bursts of energy.

I haven't taken her to the dog park much - she is SUCH a mama's girl- I feel like she would just be glued to me. I need to try it though! When I have taken her - it seems to always work out that no one else is there so she doesn't get to interact w/any other dogs. I assume we will take her to HF so we can give the another opportunity to get to know each other. I don't think it went so well last time. lol

I usually plan with someone to meet me so theres at least 1 other dog. 2 of the 3 parks I've been to usually have at least 10 other dogs around at all times. I dont think it went bad last time, Teq is just a little relentless annoying sh*t that will push other dogs to either play or snap at him to tell him no.

Bumping my list so I can keep track of this crap.

Truck stuff left to do before I wheel again:

Trim fenders just a tiny bit more
Fit rear flares and get everything trimmed
Extended brake lines front and rear and flush all of the old brake fluid
Replace lower control arms (my lower ball joints are bad and I bet the bushings are beat up too) and replace the alignment cam bolts, crank caster all the way forward
Replace upper control arm ball joints with greasable versions and adjust camber/caster to match the lower adjustments
Swap front coils... figure out how to mount the remote reservoir bracket in conjunction with my front frame braces on the bumper. I dunno how that's gonna happen just yet

CB antenna tuning on mine and the 4R.

Then I've got the following that I want to have done before Jambo:

    Exhaust reroute
Mount mid skids and gas tank skid
Paint correct and give some TLC to some of my trail stripes
Paint flares and get black mounting hardware
Install front and over-tire cameras as well as input selector switch... wire it into the TPMS reset button, that ought to be pretty slick
Buy plenty of beer and whiskey
Install whatever @MellyMel wants done on her T4R if she can ever decide on bumpers... hopefully she has a winch before Jambo

So theres no way to mount the RR Bracket and the bumper frame braces off the same spot? Anywhere up higher in the engine bay your could make a simple bracket off of dropping into the wheel well?

I'm playing with it right now. I'll work at the sway bar mounting holes as designed, but the bracket doesn't sit flush due to the frame brace. I'll wallow out the bracket holes a bit to help it slide over to the outside some. I bet if I put loctite on the bolts it'd be fine the way it is, but it looks pretty ghetto. This is passenger side... driver side is a bit worse.

At the end of the day... I'd rather compromise the strength of the bracket that only holds a reservoir instead of weakening the frame brace.

Could you cut off the side pcs to make the RR mounts flat and mount them behind the bumper frames braces?

No, the frame brace is too tall, goes up where the reservoir mounts to the bracket
