Same, it is that time of the year when no one is doing trips or mods so it is just boring around here.

That makes sense! There is so much excitement leading up to Jambo...now we really haven't done jack shit since then - with no upcoming plans. Sadness! Why does it have to be so hot outside??

    Texas...

Yep, this is pretty much my save up money time and do small mods here and there over the summer.

Other than that, not much. Just to hot to really try and camp or anything.

Good call on saving money! I really want to pull the trigger on my rear bumper...but without Jambo looming - I keep putting it off.

Yea, I am pretty sure my next purchase will be a switch-pro as my current switch panel is being a pain in my ass. After that, will be small things until debt is paid off or until I have cash on hand for bigger things honestly.

DO IT!!! Just don't fuck up the order like I did... but if you do you have plenty of time to correct it before jambo instead of getting it a month or 2 after like me.

Look into the one Caliraised is selling. From the little I've looked into it it's very similar to the switch pros but cheaper.

But also a knock off and they have been called out for it...

I am all for cheaper products, but when companies rip off other companies that have a solid product... I then stay away from said companies and go with the original.

That is also why I no longer do cheap lights and stay with Baja...

I understand that. I believe in supporting companies that bring innovation and new product designs to market. I bought a switch-pro right before Caliraised put there knock off out. I have no regrets but damn its kinda pricey. As for lights I've bought lower cost ones than going to the big names simply because of cost. I would love the higher end baja/rigids but with all the mods I still want to get I cant justify the cost right now for the little I actually get to use them. Once I get the major upgrades done I'll likely upgrade my lights to those of higher quality.

Yea, I understand that. I started off with the caliraised stuff and then switched to baja and glad I did and won't go back. Learned that sometimes buying the cheaper stuff at first is usually the more expensive option.
