It would be fun to do some meets this fall. I am back in the area within the next week!
Have not explored much in other than around Bluewood Ski Resort and Pikes Peak just outside of town.

Unfortunate, I won't be able to go until November. Maybe we'll have some clear weather and trails that month. Just have to see!
It would be good start with a meet and great at Eggs and Bacon for a little pre-trail breakfast!

Hey everyone, I'm sorry I've been absent lately! Work is a bitch and I'm preparing to leave work for school at WSU TC.

So last winter, the local 4x4 club was organizing rides for medical personnel so they could get to work. I talked with the club president and he wouldn't let me help without first joining the club and paying dues. I will be a part of the snow helpers page again this year should the area need it, but if it gets bad again, are any of yall interested in doing something similar? It would be a supplement to the 4x4 club, not a competition.

His could be a chance to have a meet and greet as well. Maybe a weekend lunch?

Rattlesnake isn't the only local 4x4 club, and wasn't the only club helping out, but they were the folks ferrying medical personnel around and got some very well deserved publicity for their efforts. Was very good work.

I really doubt snowmageddon will repeat itself anytime soon but if it does I'll probably already be coordinating with the offroad 4x4 club that I am member of. But if you "send up the bat signal" here I'll try to join in.

I like that the roads have less people on them... because they're all in the ditch

I'd love another snowmageddon. My truck floats over snow, and I really want to go offroading in the stuff.

Hey I am somewhat new on here. I am in Kennewick. I just bought my first tacoma. I know nothing about electrical work and am trying to install two ch4x4 switches to replace factory ones. Whether it's a meet up or on here or if you have some advice as to where to have it done. Thanks

    Welcome to the club!

I do all my own electrical setup (used to be avionics). I can offer some pointers if you'd like. Are you replacing switches for an existing system or are you adding new systems? I haven't updated my build page ina while, but feel free to check it out to see what I've added!

Awesome man. And thank you. This is one of the most clear videos I could find:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBu_ZyFGk14

I know he is installing a light bar, Which i will be doing once my rigids come in. but for now, i am only replacing the factory switches. I am not adding anything but they say I need to use a relay with them. I am replacing the Rear diff lock and fog light switches for them to be all the same color. So I have the switch, I have the relay, it's just not clear how to wire the switch to the relay, where to put the relay, and where to put the ground. I have a relay mount from rago fab. I am assuming I can just mount it underneath the hood, but because of the distance, it looks like I need to add wires to make them longer to reach underneath the hood. I also need to make sure I wire it so the constant light comes on with the dash lights, and the second light comes on when the switch is pushed in. If that makes sense. He is also using an add-a-fuse, which i don't think i need until i hook up my lights. I may be making this more confusing than it has to be. I just don't have any experience with electronics and would rather do it myself to learn and make it clean.
