depends on the cost. I had my rails and front guard coated in Line-X, but that ended up being twice as expensive as I thought it would.

Since there is a lot of sand in the area, the coating needs to handle the occasional "brush" with the sand (like the bottoming of suspension in the dunes).

And this is all assuming that I actually buy the thing. Fucker costs $400.

You should be able to get your skid done at Custom Coat in Pasco (I think that's the name) off Oregon St. for like $50, depending on the color. Normal run of the mill colors are cheap, he does it in bulk.

I had him price out on my T4R a full set of skids and savage from bumper for like $300. They do full kart chassis for $125, might want to give him a call. I am going to check into powder coating at another place in Kenn. this week, ill keep ya updated.

I've had some work from Armor Performance Coatings. They do great work, I can't see a whole skid for $40. If there is no prep work involved and they can combine it with other projects, maybe.

I was guessing on the price. But like I said, he quoted me (3 skids and a bumper) at $300 or $325, including sand blasting. If you like the standard (16) colors he does, cant beat it.

Bumper and all? That does seem like a real good price!
I hand sanded mine (aluminum), used etching primer, and painted. I figured it would be easy to touch up.

Yea, the whole lot. I'm not 100% sure that's his normal rate, cuz I was dropping names trying to get a deal, thinking it would be 5-700.

Hey guys, I may not be around Tri Cities much longer. I am looking at getting a new job that will have me back toward home in greater Spokane area. I'll be in Umatilla for a couple more weeks, then moving to another project in Ritzville for about a month, then sounds like there might be a couple projects in Spokane, then hopefully the new job. I'm up for a beer after work most days, and I am probably going to 7x10 schedule so drinking after work will be more affordable.

I'd like to plan a get together as well, but I will be out of town until July. Don't wait for me, though. If ya'll wanna plan something, do it!

Work for me just shifted from Umatilla to Ritzville. I am no longer close to tri cities.

Anyone in here a diver or know one? I'm looking for a dive buddy that knows the river and places to dive it.

Hey who wants to play in the sand this coming weekend? There are some good trails just outside the Pasco airport if anyone wants to just fuck around for a bit.

I'm getting a 3rd gen 4runner. It's a hard decision and I've been thinking about it for a while. But I don't want to have to worry about money that much with school :annoyed:

Just to get a Masters at first, so I can teach college. I'm going to wait until next fall though, so I'll have a year to save up

Good luck. My wife put in a lot of work to get her Masters.
