I have the undercover SE too. Easy to remove and replace but it takes 2 people if you care about your truck.

I have a Extang Solid Fold 2.0 coming. Like the look of flush mount ones like the G2 but didn't want the drain rails, tubes and having to move the factory rails. Ordered from the Tonneau vendor here on TW. More than $100 less than list with free shipping.

That's my biggest hangup. I don't want to install drain rails or tubes, and sure as hell don't want to move the factory rails.

Looks like solid fold 2.0 has taken the lead.

After 4 years that's what I missing most is the ESTANG Solid Fold I had on my Tundra I just traded for Taco. For me it was security to keep all my stuff in the back without being bothered or having to unload tools or hunting gear after a day at the camp. On a really bad storm it might leak a tad in the corner if truck was just sitting still but nothing I couldn't have luggage in the back for traveling. If that was big concern I had always said I would just use something like a pallet to raise luggage off the bed floor. It was much more useful for the on the fly adjustment to fold it back when needed and I used it that way a LOT. The fold allows you to remove the need of having to plan ahead like a full cover to leave it at the house. I didn't go this time with one because cost and I had a low profile toolbox already but keeping eyes on Craigslist for used one in case I change my mind.

You may want to look at the Trilogy by Leer. I like the way it looks better than the Solid Fold 2.0

I would not stand on a cover I paid $800 for no matter who makes it.

I have a fold-a-cover G4 elite. Very good tri-fold. had it for a little over a year. Never removed it. id say 99% water-proof, even going thru a car wash with pressurized water. Just take your time installing and lining everything up.

My Extang I stood on it along with my girls plenty of times and sat on it a ton more. I'm pushing 230 and wouldn't even see it budge but that was part of why I went with it because I wanted something durable. If you gotta undo it place it to the side to get a 4 wheeler home you don't want to worry about tearing it up. I kept the one off my tundra with plans to make it roof on shooting house that I can take down easily if needed.

**Plus if you need to camp it holds a tarp really well over your kayak and hammock while at a fishing tourney.

    Nobody likes the Revolver x2?
It's a hard top, rolls up and can still see out of the back window and use 100% of the bed space (like loading a dirt bike) and it has great security with the interlocking sides.

Op, have you checked this one out?

Thanks for all the feedback guys.

Just got 20% off and free 2 days fed ex shipping from auto anything on the Extang Solid Fold 2.0.

Looking forward to not having to move my ice chest and golf clubs into the back seat when I walk into a meeting.

Hope you get a good one. Several guys on here have posted pictures of theirs sinking in on the top. And of course they are not to happy with Extang.

And a picture of another members Solid Fold 2.0

Reading here of problems with extang... I have an extant solid trifold, almost two years now, california sun, no issues whatsoever. I've carried heavy loads on top also, no problem. I take it back.... Initially, had a problem with one of the rear hold down handles, they sent a replacement with no hassles. Mine was apparently a predecessor to the 2.0?
But then again, I don't have a 3rd gen truck, so that must account for the problems you guys are having. :D

Love my Leer Trilogy, easy on and off with very little water in the bed even after going through a car wash.

I had to settle for a TruXedo Lo Pro QT. My local dealer wanted $900 for a Trilogy. I think he must of been smoking something besides cigarettes.

I'm looking at the Undercover SE or Elite, even after the Flex hatred I have ;)

I would get the SE. The Elite don't look right on these Tacoma's. A guy has pictures of one on his truck. It looks like it belongs on a full size truck.

Well I ended up going with the Elite. They sat both on there and I liked the look better and it was on $100 more. I'll have to get some pictures.
