Maybe there might not be as much BS in this thread as your official but ive had 2 vehicles last past 200k miles, both family owned. 94 ford explorer 262k miles when sold and ran fine, 01 Nissan Xterra 236k miles and probably a blown head gasket when i traded it in. (i know the cause of that) Religious oil changes at 3500 miles for each, Spark plugs, Brakes. Maintenance performed when needed They were also simpler machines, under powered 4.0L OHV -160hp/225ft-lb for the ford and 3.3L 170-180hp for the nissan.

I think where you live and how much you drive matters a lot.

I live in MA (lots of road salt in the winter). My wife has a Pathfinder we bought new in 2013. It only has 70,000 miles on it. I don’t think it will ever reach 100k before the rust gets it.

If you drive more miles per year you are a lot more likely to get the truck into high miles.

Regular maintenance, and when it breaks..fix it.
