    Hello Taco world,
I'm looking for some advice on diagnosing a tricky electrical problem in my 2017 Tacoma. My IG1 No2 fuse keeps blowing causing the climate controls, mirror defrost, seat warmers and thermometer to stop working. The dealership has been unable to solve issue (not under warranty any more).
I have tired disconnecting the MG CLK relay and then replacing the fuse but it still blows. I am considering disconnecting the AC amplifier, and/or the Body control module to see if the fuse will not blow when those 2 units are unplugged but thought I would look for other suggestions first. I have the service manual and the EWDs for the vehicle.
    Thanks!

I should also mention that I could smell burning isolation after trying to replace the IG1 No2 10amp fuse with a 20amp fuse, so I am pretty sure the electrical short is in the cab, not under the hood.

I would look at the connections at the seat heaters. They have been known to fail (burn up) at the connector and may be shorting.

Stop trying to fix electrical shorts by bumping up the fuse..

Thanks Arries289, yup it was a short in the seat heater connector.
