Tried the New Rims on For Size..more than expected

    Had the back tire off today and decided to stick the new rim up on there (no tire) to see how it looks. Was a bit surprized how far it sticks out from the side. I would say almost 2" past the truck fender, much further then expecting. Hope it looks alright once the tires are on it and its sitting on the ground.
    Wheels are the MotoMetal 955, 17x9, -12mm offset and 4.5 BS.

    That makes perfect sense. Your stock wheels were 7" wide with 5.5" backspacing. so these new wheels stick out 3" further than stock.

    I see, thought stock were 8" wheels.thx
