I tried to recharge the AC system with refrigerant, but the system won’t take it in. I followed all instructions per KFlo video. But Freon will not go in the system. Is there any ideas, why?

    thanks

Double check hose connector, Can you "burp" the scrader valve with a screwdriver to make sure it works? Just a quick touch, bad stuff to let out.

If you're using a DIY kit and have one of those screw on brass fittings in which you turn the knob and puncture the can so that the freon will come out, DON'T turn the knob all the way to the end when opening the can. I went crazy trying to figure out why the freon would not come out and then tried turning the knob only 1/2 to 3/4 of the way and freon flowed like crazy. Live and learn.

You’re going to have more problems if you try to put Freon in your truck.

Beware the r134a cans in the past were punctured by the tap. Now the cans have a Schrader valve and need a new style tap. Sometimes the old tap works on the Schrader can, but not always.

This ^^. I found that out when I was replacing my condenser. They do sell a blue plastic adapter that fixes the problem.

I'm not sure what brand you're using, but I've had fantastic luck with AC Pro, the valve that you screw on the top allows you to properly (well, as properly as AC-in-a-can can be done I suppose) meter the amount of refrigerant into the system. I recharged my Tacoma in 2018 and haven't touched it since, AC still blows cold.

Did my wife's Impreza that leaked all the refrigerant out two years ago and it still blows nice and cold.

I got it filled up, the gages I was renting from auto stores were bad . I had to rent third gage from a different auto store and I got the job done in 5 minutes. The AC is working fine now.
    Thank you all
