I always purchased soft roll up for price, ease of use and ability to roll full open. All worked well

This Tacoma had a hard tri fold. I don’t mind it. Kinda more like it. Easy to remove as well

Yep- I got the truck from Southeast Toyota with the Tonneau. Not OEM but I actually like it better since it's easy on, easy off. Funny you mention about the alignment. I saw that last night while I was washing the truck and lined it up. I still have to fix the cleat install since it's not centered to the clamping mechanism but I ran out of time.

I had a soft cover on my F150 for 2.5 years before trading in for the Taco. Never had an issue. It was an Access Lorado and I went with them because the entire thing had a lifetime warranty. Velcro, connectors, cover...all.

Always wanted a Bak-Flip so with the Taco that is what I have and that is what I will always have. I like the look, the low to zero profile, the fact i can place up to 400lbs on it and not worry. Accessing the last 5 inches of the bed has never been an issue.

My soft top tri-fold comes off in minutes. Easy to store, easy to re-install. And keeps the snow out of the box in the winter...

They all leak to some extent. I have the BAK-Flip MX4 and it lets a little water in here and there but nothing I would be scared of when hauling something.

    Work in progress...
If I get caught in a high wind heavy rain storm I get a little moister in the back. I wouldn't keep electronics back there, however, luggage, golf clubs, bikes, etc are no issue.

Tri fold all the way. Easy to fold to allow tall items in and worst case scenario u pull down 2 arms and the whole thing can be stored length wise in the bed when you have huge items.

If you have a solid one piece cover you dont have that flexibility. Rolling bed covers like roll n lock also are an option . Although pricey.

Same here, I sealed around the bed cap rails when I installed mine and the only time I get any water in is if the truck is sitting at a particular angle and it's a monsoon rain for a couple of hours, and even then, it was literally maybe a single shot glass or less of water. No leaks going through any of the automated car washes either, I've checked it right after when pulling up to the vacuum's.

AWESOME input guys thank you all

I have had snap covers on my gen 1 and a Velcro cover on my 08 Tundra.... I know any cover will have some bit of water seepage I mainly just want to cover the bed (eyes off my stuff) and snow out of the box in the winter.... I have seen nothing but good things on the Tyger covers and they are inexpensive.... I will order the TriFold and give her a go.... Money saved on that will be toward my lift and tires

    Thanks ALL

Ordered the Tyger trifold. Installed in about 30 mins. Was a little worried fed ex damaged it the box was a little beat up, but no damage.

Fits good. I like that it installs to the trac system. Fits tight no noticeable flapping on city roads. Haven’t been on the highway

For the $230 I didn’t know what to expect but the quality is the same if not better than my extangs on previous trucks.

    Very happy.
