Been trying to keep the look of the truck pretty clean, but thought I'd make an exception on the tailgate for a few things close to my heart. The hydrocephalus ribbon is the only non black or grey aspect that will make it on the truck*

    * if/ when my Royals take the crown again this year I might make another exception!

Turned the wrench on another truck today. Helped my buddy Adam throw a 2 inch spacer lift on his F150. Pretty simple and easy especially after we borrowed his neighbors 3 ton floor jack. Made me realize that I need to up my floor jack game for sure!

Gotta say, Feord makes a nice truck. Might snatch one up in a few years to have some more cab space for the family. NOT getting rid of Trigger though, he will be more of a toy at that point.

Yup. If I do it will be for as much space inside as I can.

Do you know your fender to hub measurements? I am also running an access 4-banger with a similar bumper and winch, only I am running 887s with a top plate spacer. I am pulling 23" hub to fender up front. How is it with the 886s with our light trucks?

I don't recall off the top of my head, but I'll get you some measurements here in a bit. I seem to remember being around 2.75 over stock, but I've had so many variations between stock and now that it is hard to remember!

    Here you go:

    FP 23"
    FD 22.75"
    RD 24.5"
    RP 24.5"

Give or take a 1/4" or so. I bought these coilovers used, so they have definitely settled to ride height. Trim packer is on the drivers side, no additianal spacers on top. Dakar leaf pack in back with no leafs removed. Hope that helps!

Thank you sir! Where abouts in Florida are you? My wife is from Deerfield beach so we try to make it down there each year. Wish it was close enough to drive down and play on the beach with the truck.

Threw on a hidden hitch today. Excuse the finger

    IMG_6825.jpg

Not planning on moving a space shuttle anytime soon, but there have been a few situations where I might have needed one lately, so I thought I might as well have it just in case. It tucks up nice and tight behind the bumper and license plate

    IMG_6824.jpg

I have been wanting a spare tire mounting solution for a while, and this will most likely speed that up. With the spare tucked up against the hitch I have about a 1/4 inch to spare behind the rear dif

    IMG_6828.jpg

I am wanting something that will mount the spare upright against the bedrail towards the tailgate without relying solely on the bedrail since I've read that will destroy the bedside. The tire rack i have just isn't a practicle daily solution since I need the bed space so often. Will work as a nice wheeling/ camping option though, so I am considering a smaller spare or just a patch kit and my compressor as a solution. I live close to my work, so my commute is short leaving a full time full size spare possibly unnecessary. We'll see what happens.

As always, I had my invaluable helper

    Did some truck stuff yesterday

    IMG_6930.jpg IMG_6929.jpg

Also decided to clean my AFE dry filter after noticing some rough idling during start up. I have always cleaned the filter using a shop vac which the manual says returns the filter to 95% efficiency. Decided to clean using some soap and water and holy hell did a lot a funk come out! Wish I had taken pics, but after using the shop vac and rinsing well with hot water I didn't expect much more. After soaking in hot water and a few squirts of dish soap for a few minutes the water was dark black. Rinsed, filled the sink with more water and stuff was still coming out. Did this a few more times before the water ran clear. Will definitely be using soap and water going forward. I know a lot of us run these whether V6 or 4 banger, might be worth giving your filter a dip!

Did some other routine maintenance as well. As always Molly helped. She is a pro at checking tire pressure

For sure. To many trucks round here just haulin bags from the mall.

Full disclosure: my wife's shopping addiction rivals if not beats my truck addiction, so my truck has seen its fair share of mall hauls as well.

haha. I remember thinking that that day. I was at Arapahoe rental in the morning and saw some dump trailers to rent and thought about your truck with all the EAF gear. Gotta do what you gotta do man

Trigger now has a new playmate in the garage. Picked up a 2017 TRD Off road 4Runner for the Wifey today!

I tried to talk her into matching Magnetic Grey, but she went with the Nautical Blue. This thing is badass though, wish I had the locker, downhill assist and crawl control in my rig!
