Ran Twin Cone today with my old man. It was really fun to get on the trail with both of our trucks. Old man did a great job for his first time on a real trail, he is used to just slingin mud in Kansas. Trail was a lot rougher than last time I was up there a few years ago, there was a lot of wash out from all of the rain we have had this year. That being said, I didn't have to use any of the bypasses this go around with the new bumper. What a difference the extra clearance and piece of mind give you!

Sold my 1968 Caddilac SedanDeville today. Had it since high school. I started rebuilding the engine whenever I was back home in college, but never had the time to finish it. So many great memories in that car, it was truly a classic!

    Goodbye old friend...

I'd be lying if I said my eyes didn't get a little watery when I saw the old girl being towed away. Couldn't have went to a better home though. The guy that bought is a a mechanic that will be restoring it for himself. He is going to keep it as original as possible, which meant a lot to me. I had a few offers in the past, but the buyers were going to chop it, slam it, and ruin what it was. Had under 80K when I parked it, I just couldn't let it go to someone who was going to ruin it. Can't wait to see it when he is done, would love to hear that 472 purring again!

Hopefully the new rear bumper I ordered with some of the proceeds will cheer me up :spy:

All pro bumper installed today. Now it's time to bounce it off of some rocks.

Colorado is a must. Especially after you get those new Dakars on!

Finally upgraded my air compressor from the crappy Wal-Mart special I had been hauling around to a Vlair 300P. What a difference! Took my 33's from 15 psi to 35 psi in right at 3 minutes, and so much quieter. I'll probably mount it under the hood behind the fuse box eventually, it'll ride in the toolbox until then.
