Just scored a deal on some machined methods and some 37in toyo rts. Kinda wish I would’ve gone 4.88’s now but oh well lol online it says they only weigh like 8 pounds more than the 35in red labels I have now so maybe it won’t be too bad

I’m not sure if it’s on one of those but it’s a local guy I follow who’s parting out his truck after taking a tumble.

Still haven’t gotten around to painting it as we’ve been really busy at work the last few months but I did get a chance to take it out to a local spot yesterday.

about ready to pull the cab and start swapping the drive train over to the new frame on the new daily / project.

The plan is to do a 3” Fabtech spindle and v6 coils up front and a add a leaf out back to level it out. 31’s and some 16’s that came we’ve had laying around the shop for a few years. We shall see if it stays as simple as that

Not much has changed on the truck as I’ve been gathering parts for the 5lug. Other than some cab damage from the bed somehow flexing into the cab and chipping the paint. I took a fairly hard hit the other weekend in otay and did a minor endo which I think did it but I’ve double checked all the bed mounts and all are tight so idk

Probably from the frame flexing. Do you have any stiffeners on the rear part of the frame?

Ive had a frame box kit sitting in my garage for almost 2 years now I probably should have figured it was the frame flexing.

Also test fitting a set of 37’s for lulz. Looks good but I’m 90% sure I’m gonna be sticking with 35’s.

You do a clear coat at all? I did the 2K two part, and it's holding up good. Rubbed both bedsides on trees last weekend, didn't lose any paint.

i used the rust oleum clear coat and it seems to be holding up good ! My corners don’t sit right in the fenders so one side rubbed through the paint which is annoying but I also should have done something about it since I knew it was doing it before.

Painted the bedsides the other day. Came out decent but painting them outside on a hot day didn’t help and they didn’t come out a good as the front fenders that but they still came out alright.
