Trim Before or After the Initial Alignment?

    I got my Toytec Ultimate lift on and my new 17" rims and 285/70/17 KM2s. It rubs like a mutha. Should I wait until I get my alignment to trim or should I go ahead and trim before my alignment so it wont rub like crazy on the way to the tire shop tomorrow to get the alignment?

    You might as well trim now... the alignment wont change things much. You will find something small you need to trim later anyway which ever way you do it.

    I waited until after I had my truck aligned. Otherwise, you may end up trimming too much off, when it may not be necessary.

    I'd wait until after if it's only gunna be tmrw...Just in case they do make some real front to back adjustments. If you trim now- You may take too much...And just take your time with it...Make sure you think thru both sides of the cut.
