    Sorry to be a bother, but I’m hoping you can help me. I have a 2015 Tacoma Extended Cab that came with ‘basic’ sun visors that do NOT have the ‘sliding extender’. I was able to pull a Right (passenger) side sun visor with a sliding extender out of a 2015 Double Cab PreRunner that works and matches my interior. Unfortunately, the Left (driver’s) side sun visor was gone.

    I’ve been looking online and I’ve found some 2015 Driver side sun visors with sliding extenders, but I’m concerned if they will match the ‘used’ one I’ve already pulled. I know that the trim code for the donor 2015 Double Cab PreRunner was FQ13. As I understand it, the lookup for the trim code is:

    F = Interior Material (in this case Fabric)
    Q = Trim Level
    13 = Color (in this case gray)

    What I’m wondering is does the Trim Level (in the donor’s case, Q) really matter for a sun visor ? I’ve found several FC13 trim code donor vehicles online with driver side sun visors with sliding extender, but I’m concerned that whatever the difference is between a trim level of Q and a trim level of C, will result in the online donor’s sun visor being covered in a different material.

    The trim code of MY Tacoma is YP13. I’ve no idea what an Interior Material = Y, nor a trim level = P means. But I do know that the sun visors that came with MY Tacoma (trim code YP13) are covered in some sort of vinyl material, where as the sun visor pulled from the donor Double Cab (FQ13) is covered in some sort of fabric material.

    TL;DR out of this. Will a drivers side sun visor with sliding extender and a trim code of FQ13 be the same (made of the same material) as a drivers side sun visor with sliding extender and a trim code of FC13 ?

    13 should be the same color. But it may not be the same material and could/could not have a vanity mirror or light. If buying online I’d make sure you get a fq13 driver side so you know they’re the same.
