Yep. Just got these, but I’m sure they’ll let me swap them. It may be the best bet.

You don't really even need a full cmc, I wouldn't be afraid but that's just me

Are you still on a 16 inch wheel or did you go up to a 17?

Tires vary by manufacturer is why. The "same size" is never the same size. On my Tundra I did identical wheels to another member and "same size tires" but my Falkens rubbed while his Nittos did not. Turns out there was about a 1/4 inch difference between our tires.

Couple that with the fact that tacos and tundras aren't completely square/precise in their builds and you get enough variance that there are never any guarantees.

That's an absurd number for a cab mount chop. If you do the cutting yourself its less than an hour of someone else's time to weld a plate on there, and it doesn't need to be done right away. I wouldn't pay someone more than $100 for that, and you may have luck asking on a local thread.

I run 265/70/17 tires and didn't rub at all, same wheels as you. These tires are the exact same diameter as yours. Doesn't make sense. I didn't rub stock or now with my lift.

*edit* - saw you went up to 265/75/17 - yea wont fit

Sorry, typo yeah - 275/70 and 265/75 is the same thing - either is too big I think without rubbing or CMC

I’m about 2.6 or 2.7 with a 2” lift. I had to sacrifice a smidge of camber but everything clears.

yes stock UCA. Aftermarket UCA you would have a bunch more adjustability.

Haven’t gone for an alignment yet, but I was curious why I was sitting at. I’m unsure an alignment would help.

Not sure I have much room left to move.

275/70-17 is pushing it, in my opinion. I'm running 255/75 and that one barely fits with a 1° caster. Its the shoulder width that will get you every bit as much than the sidewall height, as any refrigerator-shaped guy who flies economy will attest.

First, I would trim the plastic piece. Then see what, if anything, needs to be addressed. If a CMC is needed, the replacement plates are like $25-$35 and would need very little work. Just find a friend that has mediocre welding skills and a can of Rustoleum and you're good to go.
