Trim or new alignment to fix tire rub?

    I'm reading the same thing. I'm also wondering how in the world he is getting 3.5 degrees of caster with a 2.5" lift.

    yeah, sadly it does. So, I have the chop scheduled for this weekend. Is what it is I suppose. However, the alignment did help with handling, lol

    Looking at your numbers, it should have been pulling hard to the left. The UCA explain why you are close to the cab mount with that much caster. You have to cut unless you go back to stock UCA, but you lose caster.

    Yeah. I think those who don’t have to chop never swap out their UCA’s. These max casters have pros and cons. SPC really would’ve been the only option outside of cutting.

    Just going to CMC and get it over with.

    I just put 285/70/17 K03s and it was rubbing in the same area as you, especially when making right and left turns into slight dips (like into a drive way). You will need to do some minor trimming. After trimming the red area with a multitool the rubbing stopped. FYI, my driver side one cracked a bit at the bolt in blue and the fender flare towards the bottom where it adheres to the painted fender has come off the double stick tape. I still plan to do a CMC for the added off road clearnce but at least the minor trimming prevents any further damage to the fender flares.

    Running ICON UCA; chamber = 0.3 and caster = 3.6 for both sides.
