    agreed. I have a glasses flat head I’ve used for all my truck and trim removal mods and needs. Don’t think I’d ever buy a trim piece tool kit

    I did the same but with the 30oz tumblers it ended up chipping a bit. If the Mezo kit is under $30 I'll prob give it a try.

    Been following this thread to spray my dash trim. I found Brownell's Duracoat FDE to be a good compromise between a close match & a semi-standard color I could find other accessories in. Here it is with no primer, 1 coat Brownells Duracoat FDE, and one coat of rustoleum gloss clear (the stripes are just vinyl). I went back and forth a lot choosing a color to match and in hindsight, it wasn't as important as I thought. Once installed the trim & body are obviously never right next to each other to contrast and there is always a difference in lighting between inside & outside. Interior.jpg Dash.jpg

    That's what I thought, removed the screws and still nothing, there was something caught and I just couldn't figure out where it was w/o applying too much force and feeling like I was going to break something :angrygirl:

    Sorry, you're right... there are two or three little snap tab things. Just push them to the side while pulling the two pieces apart (one by one, don't remember which side).

    Really sorry. I realized I failed to mention this shortly after my first post; but, didn't bother to edit. It's just that I have taken apart almost every single interior piece and ran into these tabs so many times I took it for granted. You got this.

    Once I have the front console box out, can I just remove the Lower Center Finish Panel? Or, does the HVAC panel have to come out first?

    Also, is there are way to get the parking brake boot up over the parking brake lever and remove it?

    Yeah, just pull and let the boot turn inside-out.

    If I recall correctly, yes... the lower center piece with the Qi thing is the third item to come out. (But, if you are talking about the one above that with the BSM, 12V, etc... I think that is one of the last things to come out.)
