Nice I won't be doing that one though, manual trans; no push button start.

I been wanting to do this too, but I don't know what color to go with since my exterior is black so for now I'm sticking with the gun metal. Black painted pieces won't look as good, but then maybe it would if it had a nice high gloss clear to it.

I thought of that also, but theres so much black in these trucks already. It might all blend in

Exactly. I haven't thought of an accent color yet either.

Curious, while you were removing your trim what would be the easiest way to access the lower control panel where the ECT button and USB chargers are?
I plan on doing some work on that panel this weekend and haven't ran across many trim removal threads

Apparently its a big process, alot of stuff needs to be removed to access that area. I am wondering if there are any writeups as well. I have that peice with a bunch of toggles mounted and ready to install.

Yeah I know I've read somewhere that its a real PITA to access that panel...
I guess if nobody chimes in by the time I go to tackle it this weekend I can provide some feedback on my attempt. Ill go with the idea of when in doubt keep disassembling!

I honestly didn't look, but I would assume you would have to remove the HVAC panel as I did and then it would be accessible after that.

as @Kennedyusmc said, its a yellowish-green, I Have seen someone actually take it apart and replace the guts with their OEM push button start so that it lit up blue to match the other buttons, but I kinda like the lime green. Makes it noticeably different
