Now you should attach broom bristles to the bottom of it

I was the same way. Took mine off for about a month but I would sit here and look out my window at it everyday and the front suspension parts were to much. Got off my ass and put the air damn back on. :)

I like the look off your trimming. You did a great job, looks good on your truck. I have an OR, but wanted a spoiler for testing the mileage gain or not, between having one vs taking it off. A member of a fb group gave me his. I do a lot of 55 to 65 driving to volunteer opportunities, and mileage matters to me. There are many factors for sure, but the data is starting to show a gain in mileage when you keep it on. It would be interesting if your trimmed version still keeps most of the mileage gain but looks better:) Time will tell, to each his own!

Reading this forum makes me do stuff....
I too didn’t care for the low rider look on my 21 SR5, so after reading a bit, I took it off. Heard the howl, but didn’t notice a drop in MPG. I have a work truck so this is my weekend driver, admittedly not a ton of miles (1800 in the last 3 months)
After researching and reading this, I trimmed mine, but the left the tires a bit more exposed. Probably never do any real off roading in mine to be honest. The most would be to recover a downed deer on the back 40.
I like the look, the howl subsided. Done.

I first took mine off then, I read this thread and trimmed mine. I still like mine better without so I removed it.

I added an air dam to my OR. Definitely a ~0.5+ MPG gain. I just averaged 24 on a 500 mile trip from northern MN to southern WI against a headwind. Thats probably a gallon of gas saved. Visually it makes no difference against MGM and I think the truck now handles better on the highway.

I know this is an old thread. But really think it suits the Sport models. It's just the angle it has from the side. Needs to have the bottom profile ahead of the top profile. So it doesn't look tucked back, and will look more aggressive. See if I can dig up a pic on what I mean on the Web.

It's all in the angle like this one. Ours looks like we've been hitting it with a curb from the side veiw.

I cast mine into the deepest pits of hell before 2 feet of snow or a dog sized rock removed it for me on the farm in the middle of the night when I can't see shit
