Trip odometer resets when info center restarts

Has anyone had problems with there info center power off and back on and when it comes back on the trip odometer resets to zero? Also radio goes blank and resets to and phone presets are gone on 2016 taco

 

Are you pushing the power button to turn it off/on and this is when it occurs? If so, how long are pushing the button to power down?

Holding it down until it powers down; it's rebooting. It only needs a touch to power down.

 

Thank you for the info, splitbolt. My truck has a push button start and the problem happens sporadically and the whole dash goes blank the gauges,info center,and radio. And when everything comes back up the trip odometers have reset to zero,the mpg average and radio preset phone numbers are gone.

Ty, 2016tacoman. You confirmed what Toyota service guy told me, they have my truck and said they have to replace my dash so I’m assuming they mean the gauge cluster and possibly my radio I guess cause it also resets itself to. I won’t get the taco back till possibly next week depending on when they recieve the new parts

Was it raining hard when the radio goes dark and reboots? Mine did that and the radio software update fixed it.

I wish. It only happens when I start the truck and not all the time. Just got truck back today this is what they did. Replaced combination meter per TSB 0148-16.

 

Had the same issue. They kept my truck for a while because they had a new cluster made with the miles on the old one.

 

I hope this fixes the problem luckily they said it was gonna be next week before I would get the truck back cause they had to burn my mileage on the new combination meter, i was shocked when they called and said they got the part and then called this afternoon and said it was done they only had it 1 day
