Hey folks. I'm wondering what mounts/ adapters long range precision target shooters and long range hunters use to attach your rifle to a tripod? Most tripods have an Arca Swiss style mount and my LR hunting rifle has a pic rail on the bottom of the front end of the stock. Ideally, the mount would have at least a quick release (Q/R) lever on the pic rail side so I can easily swap to a shorter tactical style bipod without using tools. I found a few crappy options on Amazon that aren't worth considering or linking, especially since none are Q/R. I did find some nice options on B&H photo. This one in particular caught me eye: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1658174-REG/benro_qrc60g_picatinny_rail_clamp.html

What solutions are you all using? Thanks in advance.

I still use a hog saddle. It’s good enough for government work.

That said, I use a anvil 30 or something number from RRS with a arca adapter for PRS. I don’t use it that much, as it’s not really a super common thing in most stages. That said, you can use it and not have to take off the bipod…

For mountain warfare and high angle shooting the hog saddle and a sling exceeds the accuracy of what most guys can shoot.
