So I'm so close to getting that Taco I can literally taste new rubber and smell new engine (or very slightly used engine and rubber) and with the most recent visit of the Mazda to the service department going on 2 weeks now I was just curious how many times per month you guys hit the dealer for service or actual problems with the truck/your mods.

    Vote! :D

1 time to purchase touch up paint
1 time to purchase a little plastic piece that holds my window switches (and visit a friend)
1 time to purchase spark plugs/drain plug gaskets and price labor on a timing belt change

I've been to the dealer twice in one year for service.

Once was for a squeaky clutch pedal, and the other was for a faulty TPMS that some genius at a tire shop broke.

19K miles and nothing to really complain about.

It seems to me that yearly or bi-yearly intervals would be more appropriate than monthly.

I sure hope no one is making anywhere near one visit per month to have warranty work done to their truck.

Well this is why I'm wondering on a monthly basis, I go to Mazda twice a month for warranty. Mainly because I can't get there more often than that. So less than 1 is good enough for me.

   I compelled myself to be more skeptical about online automotive research too. (and join forums before you buy, not after)
Although I learned that the 08's were especially crappy, the other years were just a 50/50 shot at a bad car, the 08/08.5's were absolute crap.

Had to take mine in a week after I bought it to replace the steering rack which was leaking from the factory.

I then took it in to re-flash the computer after I installed the supercharger.

Both times I had my brothers friend work on it.;) Other then that toyota will never touch my truck.
