Trouble after frame swap

Everywhere a weld was made, the powder coat let's loose. The core of the welds were still too hot when they went in the booth.

What about the 1995-2000 models that rusted and we're bought back? Not to mention that Dana made the frames, not Toyota. Just playing devils advocate here, but I don't know how nickel prices in 2003 affected frames in 1995.

I dunno. I just find it odd that in the biggest rusty frame mess of any auto manufacturer there is a shortage of nickle globally....come on it can't be a coincidence. I dunno maybe I am one of those conspiracy theorist nuts??

Hey all I had my frame swapped done by the factory and less then 24 hours later got a check engine light and a missfire in cylinder 6. I replaced the plugs and 6 was melted and the rest on the driver side had white burned marks. (thinking lean condition)

I drove for another day and the code came back so I took it to the dealer who sold me a coil and said not their problem.

Replaced coil and plug and cylinder six is misfiring again. Its currently back at the dealer, but the service manager is feeding me lines about how its probably just a coincidence, and they pull the engine all in one piece so there really isn't anything they do that would cause this. Waiting to hear back now. Any thoughts on what could be going on or what I can do once the dealer washes their hands of this?

On a serious note if it keeps on I would have to say there is an electrical gremlin like they broke a wire in the harness or something. There are easy checks to do if you can rent a noid light and with the spark plug to check if the coil is firing and the inj. is getting its firing trigger. Are there any other codes besides the #6 missfire?

My wife's 04 4Runner had the notorious p0306. Swapped plugs and coils with number 1 cylinder, still had the misfire. It was the head gasket. It may be shitty timing, but they do go from time to time on these trucks.
