    true, but commute two and from work with the 4wd light blinking and never disengaging?

    Dang, hell of a caveat. I guess I’d get the wranglers since those are the most aggressive of the bunch.

    I like the look of the wranglers, but I'm contemplating the defender ltxs...do you think my truck would lose a lot of the stock appearance going this route? I know michelins are the better of the two options but I don't want my truck to look like the trd sport...no offense....

    To be honest I don’t think you’ll notice a difference either way. Both tires are very tame as far as tread goes. But then again I’m used to some meat.

    Off Road models come with the ‘adventure’ wranglers, so you’ll look stock.

    I’ve never seen them, so no clue. They have a longer tread rating and are considered fuel efficient, but they’re less aggressive too. Honestly, I drove in constant rain in Hawaii on the adventure tires and got 20-22mpg before I lifted. Never slipped.

    Can’t atest to winter conditions because I got Duratracs before moving back east, but I figure they’re both not great. I’d just go with the OEM tire if it were me.

    I'd get those LTX's for sure. And just for clarification the indicator blinks when it's attempting to transition so if it never went solid you never got into 4Hi. Same going the other way. If it never turns off you never got out of 4Hi. That's the intended operation at least - could do anything if it's malfunctioning though.
