I have the same problems in 2 different entune head units. It's better since the lastest Android update, but I still frequently lose track info or it will be 1 track behind what it actually is.

Yea that happens to me a lot along with the just straight up not connecting sometimes issue. Gonna try the etune update. We'll see how that goes.

I think it's actually Android. I never had the issue with my Nexus 6p. It started when I got my pixel XL. I had an sr5 with entune plus that had the issue. Now I have an offroad with the entune premium and it has the same issue.

Yeah, the Android team keeps messing with Bluetooth. Now I'm always able to connect, but playback invariably stops for no reason at some point. And sometimes I don't get artist/song/album info on the head unit. Overall the experience is lame. Using a USB stick is way better.

My pixel XL is my daily but I'm testing an S phone and it connects perfectly whilst still maintaining BT connectivity with my gear S3. That's one less thing to think about when getting in and starting up the truck

Here's an example of what I see almost every day. There's another iteration of this where your see both a pause and a play button without track info. A few versions back, whenever it got to that screen, I'd lose ability to skip tracks with the head unit. The only way to fix it was cycling Bluetooth.

Hey man I'm in Clarksville! Drive through Murfreesboro all the time. I updated with Etune yesterday and nothing on the screen really changed like yours. Did you just rearrange the stuff that shows?

Yeah I had to set it up like this. It's the 2|3 setup. I have weather and economy on left and music on the right.
