I've noticed a lot of guys here use this app so maybe someone can help me out.. I've registered and made an account for my truck, and I (try to) use the app everytime I fill up to track my mpg.

I noticed te other day that if I go to my account for the truck it says 19.8 mpg avg, but if I try to look at the breakdown for individual fill ups I get this:

    yru2etus_6363a754f234a6629b60a696b38c3186e97717b2.jpg

Why is it saying 0.0 mpg if I have 19.8 avg? And how do I fix it? I've tried everything I can think of but nothing has fixed it.

I noticed that if the box for "This is a partial fuel up" is checked (ie. you had a half tank left but got gas and topped off, or you were running on fumes but only put in $20 worth of gas) then the subsequent fuel-up will show 0.0 mpg.

Were those individual fuel-ups inadvertently checked off as partial fuel ups?

yes, yes they were. haha I definitely thought the "partial fill up" button meant that I still had like 3/4 of a tank and filled to full instead of filling from empty.. I guess that doesn't really make much sense though. haha but it works now!

    thanks!

Yup. www.Fuelly.com and the app (at least for the iPhone.. I'd assume the same for android) is called Fuel Tracker by Fuelly. You have to make the account online and set it all up but then you log in and track it all on your phone. Gives you graphs, averages, total miles, total money spent, etc. it's pretty handy! Lol

I just use the SMS text message. You send them a text with your miles, the price for fill up and the gallons for filled. It updates your account and sends a text message back that shows your results.
