    Do you have to have the premium stereo or tech package to get this or is it on all 2021 off road trucks?

    I don’t have the premium stereo or the tech package. I believe it is standard on at least the 2021 TRD OR maybe other models as well.

    FYI mine magically fixed itself after about 6 hours past talking with the rep on SOS. Now my entune app wont recognize my VIN and register, but I don't care much about that since Carplay is infinitely better.

    21 Tacoma Trd Off-road long bed
    I got mine set up by using my sos button just now. My truck wasn’t giving me the communications option so I couldn’t activate my code, tried searching all over online as to why, downloaded apps, etc. the SOS rep overrode it and now it says pending on my app so I should be good in 24 hours. :)

    Check back on your tacoma stereo (Entune 3.0) they just updated the head unit today and they added remote connect activation on the app section on your entune.
