So my horn has not been working for a few weeks. It does work when the wheel is turned in either direction so I naturally came to the conclusion of a bad clock spring. No other symptoms otherwise.

Today I replaced the clock spring with the correct OEM part and the horn still doesn't work, but now the steering wheel controls also don't work. I followed the photo guide on here as well as a youtube video. Everything went smoothly and it was relatively easy to replace. I have since pulled the wheel back off to make sure all the connections are secure and they were. Now I turn the wheel and the horn no longer works under those conditions either. Not really sure what to do next.

Any ideas what could be going on? Thanks in advance.

Check all the pins and make sure you have no bent or pushed out pins in any of the connectors.

Well I thought I had all the connectors but one was not pushed in all the way after all. Works fine now. Thanks
