I finally get to post pictures of my little 4 Runner camping! lol Just got back from Virgin, UT for the Red Bull Rampage mtb event. Got to take my 4-Runner on some trails, found an AWESOME little camp spot near the old Rampage site on Kolobe Terrace Road. Great place to mountain bike. Also went up to Zion National Park and did some epic hiking. This was the very first roadtrip/camping trip for my boyfriend and I. We usually go camping with our dads. Everything was flawless! Had the greatest adventures and didn't get lost, hurt or kill each other ;) It was a beyond successful trip!

What are your thoughts on the OZ tent? I dig the quick set up, but the pricing is pretty dear.

Headed down to Washington and meet up with a buddy who just bought a new 4runner. Drove out east by Snoqualmie and did a little exploring and camped one night. Both of us and our girlfriends slept in our trucks. It was nice not having to deal with a wet tent (besides the easy up). It showered off and on most of the trip. We wanted to camp at the top at a view point, but it was too windy and cold so we went down and found a spot in the valley by a creek. I need to explore Washington more. There are so many backroads and its relatively close to me, its just the border that sucks!

Its pretty awesome. We use cots inside super comfy. It's definitely the last tent you will ever need to buy. Very heavy duty.

The pics are from the center area of the park. I've camped (4) times in J-Tree at the campgrounds in the fall over a an 8 year period. Never again. Too many people, too much noise.

Remote camp and day trip into the park, that's the ticket for us.
