Camping with the wife or lady friend changes things a bit.

 

Only if your lady friends or wives are high maintenance! From my experience of camping with a battalion of mostly men in the lovely desert, you boys need the shower not us ladies!!

 

Meh. My wife doesn't go on any of my long trips, just the three day'rs which definitely don't require a shower. She checks out on the week long or longer ones, maybe this is why. Hmm, maybe I'm on to something

 

It Isn't a camping trip unless your riding home with the window open for obvious reasons.

These little buggers work amazing! I have one of these for my off-grid cabin in hawaii and they work so damn good. i believe coleman makes a less expensive one. a single propane bottle will last you a whole outing, and the water is nearly instantly hot. i dont mean warm but hot, and they take up little room. i feed mine out of a five gallon bucket. the hardest part is packing a full bucket of water from your water source to your shower spot, wherever you decide that may be.

 

Nce rig! I saw you at the little off road show at the toy dealership in ogden. I won't forget that bonkers shock setup.

 

Ya you don't smell after 3 days in the forest? I doubt it. Not saying guys don't sweat but you girls can't sweat too. Just from my experience. Which is why most of my camp spots include a lake.

I just take the time to clean up with baby wipes!

 

Stomping around in the woods in 80+ degree weather in waders for 12 hours brews some funky funk in the crouch region. Typically the closest body of water is a small mountain trout stream thats no deeper than knee deep.

Plus I HATE cold water

 

So that's why it take's you a hour to come outta the tent

 

Haha that's what fire watch is for! No but seriously sometime you don't want to be the clean one because everyone else smells worse than before!

Any of you guys (or gals) use a fast-pitch tent? I've been thinking of buying one. I've got a really nice Coleman 10-person tent, which is awesome, but it takes 15 minutes to set up, and requires two people. I'd love to get a roof-top tent, but I don't have the spare cash. I saw a couple Coleman fast-pitch tents at Costco for a decent price, and I'd probably be looking for a 6-person tent to fit our family of 4 with gear.
