    I know I'm late to the party, but I have just spent the last 48 hours straight looking thru this thread getting ideas for road trips. Being possibly one of the biggest Star Wars nerds on planet Earth, and recently converting my wife to one, after 10 years, the first thought I had when I saw this picture was "that looks like Jabba the Hut"! You are so blessed to have that in your "backyard". My wife and I have been discussing, very seriously, moving to the southwest just to have things like these in "our" backyard. We will be venturing and adventuring up your way eventually and I will be hitting you up for those "special" places to see when we get there. I really love how you take advantage of the scenery and terrain that is so close. You have the life I envy, just know us "flatlanders" down here live vicariously thru you.

    Dispersed Camping in Death Valley back in March. Was just passing through, and really disappointed when all the campgrounds were full, damn Superbloom. Then someone told me about the dispersed camping, ended up being a 1000x better than any campground.
