Minimalist option. Hammock off the front of the ARB with nothing but open sky above me. Actually not too bad.

9 days spent exploring the southern half of Vancouver Island. Camped somewhere new every night besides spending two nights camped in Tofino.

Awesome pics! Went to Vancouver Island once as part of a bigger road trip and can't wait to go back. It's spectacular, thanks for reminding me!

...^^^... Looks a lot like Lighthouse Park up there.

I got to spend some time up there several years ago and got to do some bush plane flying with some friends (mainly in WA, BC & AK).

Beautiful place and some of the areas reminded me of Jurassic Park.

No the Alaskan didn't come with a stove jack. It's a 'normal' tent in regards to have the tent with mesh and then you have the rain fly that goes over it.

Packing up for the first ever overnight trip with the kids. Likely the last camping trip for the Taco, since we have one more on the way and there just isn't a way to fit six of us in the cab.

p.s. more power to ya... and good luck. two kids were enough for us, any more would have been more than I'd be willing to put up with.... we used this as our vacation/ carpool/scoutmobile for about ten years.

We already traded her SUV in on a Sienna, so the Taco is safe for now. If this trip goes well enough I might consider getting an Aliner Evolution. The Sienna can tow it and so can the future full size pickup the Tacoma will be traded for.

Yeah, I've got two kids in the Taco DC. I tell the wife if we have another kid, that means I get a new truck project. Back to an 80 series :D

Did our first camping trip in the Taco and RTT at Pismo. Was a ton of fun but the constant revving is a little annoying at 2-7am. lol Still had a blast. Followed up with a little overland at Carrizo National Plain
