plus a lot of my camping is at star parties, with our telescopes and stuff, so smoke is evil, as is the light from the fires. it takes at least 30 minutes to fully dark adjust after being exposed to bright light.

Same here. Just don't like the idea of carrying full propane bottles in Runner. I hate having the little disposable bottles as it is

but smores! I pretty much don't camp if I can't have a fire....that's My therapy, so relaxing.

I outgrew s'mores circa 1970. revisited them 20 years ago when my kid was in cubscouts, ack-patooie, still don't like marshmallows, or graham crackers... now, fine belgium dark chocolate, that's a whole other game, but I sure wouldn't waste that on s'mores... :D

My six year old was stoked to try s'mores and once he did we discovered that he doesn't like them. Now we don't bring that stuff with us anymore.

Well, The softopper didnt cut it for me with camping. Found this high top Leer on KSL so I packed some things and took a little weekend trip to go get it. Ended up staying on Stansbury Island for the night before heading home. Place was pretty rad.

No windows, driving around some areas sucked, and even backing out of parking spots was sketchy. Lane changes, I ride motorcycles so I was very paranoid with not having windows, even added domed spotter mirrors on the sides, didn't feel safe enough still for me but helped with backing. This Leer isn't carpeted and condensation still wasn't near as bad. It wasn't sealed very good (could have been my part) but water would get in fairly easy, and driving down dirt roads I didn't wanna leave the bed setup back there with how much dust would still cover everything back there. Also the height of this is killer with changing clothes or even sitting up if you need to get in from bad weather. All personal issues I'm sure, not really huge deals just not something for me.

This is funny. Both my kids like to make them, but don't like to eat them. It's the only time I get to eat them. :hungry: lol

Here are a coupe from my trip to Moab last week.

Buying a RTT was such a good idea. On this trip I really enjoyed the fact that we could leave all of our bedding up there and just fold it up and drive away. Makes setup and tear down of camp that much quicker.

    Thanks guys.

I just realize I didn't post my "camp" shot.

I was minimalist on this trip, so not much camp gear deployed. I did get a chance to use my new fold-down table on the swing-out. I love it!
