Absolutely loving this Pelican case. All our gear is nice and organized and consolidated now..

    everything fits in the case..

then the food ActionPacker can go back in once the stove and other gear is setup.. making a nice "Kitchen" that can be closed up and locked quickly and easily..

I'm not that brave. I always keep LPG outside the truck on a roof rack or swing out.

My friend brought his DJI Phantom. Here's another picture from 400' above our campsite looking out over north GA. Some of the haze to the right of the picture is the forest fires being fought right now.

You should be concerned about the propane tank being in a closed container. Propane tanks are ALWAYS venting and since propane is heavier than air it will settle in the bottom of your container. Please move the tank to someplace where there is good ventilation. Would hat to read of you or your wife (and your truck) being maimed or killed.

well, they aren't ALWAYS venting, however if they are full and get too hot, they can and will vent. transporting them on their side is bad, because if they do vent, they will vent liquid propane, which could freeze the vent valve, causing it to stick open, causing the whole tank to empty itself.

thanks for the heads-up guys. I'll look into other options, but right now, I'm pretty limited. I plan on picking up an Aluminum 6lb tank. That, I can hopefully mount upright in the bed as it has a smaller footprint.
