    Thanks!

I don't think the access cabs have the factory holes to put a roof rack on - someone correct me if I am wrong.

I ended up getting a bed rack and mounted the roof top tent there. I felt it was too much weight for the roof.

Tent is very roomy. Tepui makes several sizes so I'm sure you can find one that meets your needs.

    Benefits I see:
    - high and off the ground
    - easy setup
    - very comfortable
    - can literally camp anywhere

Only con is navigating the ladder late at night to go piss.

    Current setup:

At Tolt-McDonald County Park (King County, WA) a couple of weeks ago. I think it is King County's best kept secret. I am writing this from a campsite at Lincoln Rock State Park - gorgeous park on the East Side of Washington and a favorite hangout of mine!! There will be pics from here -- not too many bighorn sheep --- but the truck did pose for a few!!

    Happy Camping!!

First trip with the new truck in June. Took it on a long road trip through Yosemite/Tioga Pass and down the 395. Here it is at Jerseydale Campground west of Yosemite- free primitive site. Can't believe I waited this long to get this baby...it has taken me over 5K miles in just over 3 months with 75% of that camping trip miles. Dog is happy with the entire back seat, it's comfy and the short bed fits all my gear perfectly! I have a sweet tent so I probably won't buy one for the truck bed like many of you have.
