Currently driving down to SoCal from Seattle for work, and afterwards probably going to Baja for a month.

Monday night stayed near Madras, OR. I believe it got down to 20 at night - cold enough my water was frozen in the morning.

That looks awesome! My work trips usually involve a middle seat on an airplane and mediocre hotels. I need to renegotiate.

Same, but that's part of the reason I ended up buying my Tacoma. I'm self employed so can make work pay for mileage.

Last night stayed near the Hirtz Mountain overlook in Shasta-Trinity NF. Was pretty smokey, but still had an incredible view and no one in sight.

Hell Yeah! Do you think REI didn't know customers were returning products they had used and just didn't want anymore? Their policy was basically no questions asked. Trust me REI has made tons of money off of me over the years.

Lol "respectfully". Totally agree with you though.

Edit: let's not turn this thread upside down though. Getting into a pissing match won't solve anything

It was thier company policy. REI knew that offering their customers the ability to return items at any time no questions asked was overall good for their bottom line.

Didn't know we had such snowflakes in here that would be so easily offended. I don't know maybe you work for REI or something.

    I'm out.
