New Taco owner of nearly 2 months now. Just remembered that I have an access pass to National Parks in the US for free due to my disability. Can anyone offer suggestions on where to go for dispersed camping? I have never done that and the pictures you all post have me dying for some adventures.

The Access Pass is good for half off of a lot of places.
Not dispersed, but look at Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds.
    https://www.recreation.gov/campgroundDirectoryListByAgencyID.do?contractCode=NRSO&agencyID=70902
You are close to a lot of USACE campsites.
Most backpacking permits in Federal land is halfed too. (NOT GRAND CANYON, THE BASTARDS)

    I now have a 9', 16', & 20' Kelty Noah tarp. OCD???
    All discounted. They seem tough.
I also like the Kelty Adjustable Poles. I use the 6' REI poles, much weaker, but still good.

Do you find that one of the sides is sloppy when you pull all 4 corners tight?

They still make the Noah's Tarps but now they're green color. I've got the 12 and 16. Tried them both out yesterday and last night. The 16 is a beast. I can't imagine having a 20' that they now offer. I just packed them both up just now. For poles I use some I found on Ebay that come two in a set and the seller had a make an offer so I got two sets for less than $50.

I'm still trying to master my tarp setup.

I have the Tsuga Tarp 10 (10x10) for over a campground table. The REI adj pole works great to hold the center of the tarp up. I used a 1 1/4" dowel, rounded end, with a hole for the pole spike so the tarp does not get damaged.
I got 3/4" or 7/8" pole supplies from Quest Outfitters, They work good.

The diagonal on the 20' is over 28'. I have not set it up yet. 25% discount from Kelty, I had to buy something. The 9' & 20' are both green.
Sacks, the 9' is in a small sack, the 20' sack is huge.
The replacement Kelty adj pole came in a mesh sack.

I also bought another set of 4 Orange Screws.
I am thinking of making some sand sacks. But, we do not go to the beach often.

Hot on the heels of the WABDR trip, we re-provisioned and headed out again just 17 hours later - this time to Idaho to meet up with a couple fellow TWers. Our ultimate destination being California, it was a bit out of our way - but in the end, so worth it. If you've never been, the Sawtooth's are amazing.

Near the Grand Tetons. I believe the area was called shadow mountain.

Here's the next installment of our recent Idaho trip with Ben and Mikey. Truly an amazing couple of days - the most glorious sunrise I've ever seen. EVER. And a really fun adventure to one of the highest roads in Idaho (and the excitement along the way). Oh, and the Sawtooths - so much, in so little time!
