I just have a good sleeping bag.
No heater, well I did get a Mr buddy for going at night.
Gong this weekend, should be in the low 30's, have a new Kodiak canvas -30deg bag i'm testing.
Used it once, was in the low 40's and I was doing heat management.

Are you just looking for general tips to keep warm when going to sleep?

For temps around that range I use a 0* sleeping bag and will also put a Nalgene bottle with near boiling water into the bottom of the bag before I get in. Sometimes I will take a Mr.Buddy heater to turn on when I wake up in the morning before getting dressed with cold weather gear. I haven't used it much yet but got in on a Kickstarter a while back from Sierra Madre for a HotPocket(basically a mini backpack that has a heating element in it). The few times I used it I had it on the back of my camp chair while around the fire pit..

I have some reflectix insulation that I surround my softopper with, and I have and use a little buddy heater[IMG] . I also have an exped megamat that does an amazing job insulating me while I sleep, combined with a 0° mummy bag (I absolutely despise mummy bags but it keeps me toasty). Last and most importantly I keep my 70lb furry, snoring heater close by.[IMG]

I like that idea with the nalgene bottle. Gotta try that out. I heard one of those thermal heating pads for the back work great too.

    Just the basics
I use the single wall stainless Nalgene with a neoprene sleeve and then keep it between my legs to warm the femoral arteries. Depending on how cold it is, this system with thermals and a good bag works well.

This is a great idea and also provides water for your coffee in the morning.

That's exactly what I do...decreased boiling time from the water jug that has been outside all night.

My new Kodiak bag kept me plenty warm in lower 20's last Friday night.
Got too hot with my long John's.

Thanks for the reply. I did use my cpap on my last trip powered by the Bluetti EB55. I also plugged in the electric blanket the first night. Sure enough in the morning the power was entirely depleted. Using the 120 panel which came with my EB55, it was able to charge fully during the day during a sunny day in the desert. I'm waiting for a 200w panel to arrive. My reason for wanting the EB55 is that it will fit underneath the bed platform in my truck should I not be using the Kodiak Canvas tent. The EB70S is too tall to fit under the platform. I'd seen good reviews on YT of people running cpap's on the EB55 but don't recall the scenario which they were running the device or if humidity was mentioned. I do use the humidifier too.

I bought a Honda/Jackery 290 for use for my wife's CPAP. She doesn't use the humidifier when we camp and I purchased a compatible 12V DC power cable for the CPAP. She easily gets 5 nights out of it so I don't worry about recharging typically.

One of my buddies' took the photo.
I also have the Kodiak canvas booster quilt that can be laided over and attached to the sleeping bag for additional warmth but I didn't need it.
    I'm digging the bag.
