A Couple o' Cascades Quickies

I bought the lumber for the pull out drawer/sleeping platform. 2 sheets of plywood.....$300

 

Biking @ KT in VT for five days around the 4th

 

This looks very similar to how I do it except mine is on the other side of the truck. I keep my stove on the same side of my table (which is similar).

Bethel Ridge WA

It was a nice 2 night trip with my gf near central WA. First night was spent on the ridge @ about 6100’. Second night was near a lake/pond around 3800’.

I wanted to travel someplace different on this trip, but there were baking temps all around me except the Olympic Peninsula, so back I went.
FYI the Hood Canal isn't a "canal" at all, but rather a fjord carved out during the last glaciation:






A moonless night filled with billions of stars, shooting stars, and late summer crickets going gangbusters.
Woke up in the clouds which lasted all morning:

Also of note, my Taco turned over 100K on this trip, and I feel that this sturdy 2TR-FE engine is just hitting its stride.

 

Another trip to silence.

 

Went for a quick overnighter the other day.

 

Spent a relaxing National Dogs Day weekend at Pine Springs in the Los Padres NF with the doggo, living the dogs life.

Just a quick overnight in Prescott National Forest. Mayer, AZ. Nice dark night to check out the stars.

 

Got back from our 2 week trip from KY to Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, +5K miles, 12 States. Tons of site seeing, wildlife, and great memories camping in the rig around the country.
