Testing out the dakar springs and custom timbrens in the rear, with extended length icon 2.5s.
Seems to be working out great so far, no worries of tearing them up like air bags.

Very depressing!I actually thought the water level was going to be even lower!

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
Canoe mod. I think I posted my teardrop camper earlier. Tomorrow before we leave I'll get a shot of the whole set up and then when we get to North Hampton Beach campground just south of the ADK. This will be my first "truck camping". Why does my girl friend want to take her Rav4 all the time. Frustrating.

I left home in Vancouver BC at four this morning and I am now enjoying a burger and beer in Missoula Montana on route to Wyoming for some kick ass caving. New DCC Leer cap and my idea of a basic travel/camping set up.

Can anyone recommend a small camper with a wet bath? I'm thinking of an Airstream sport but wanted to consider other options. thanks!

    No mods whatsoever!
Starcraft AR-ONE. Airstream's seem to weigh a lot.

Great set up Ryan. Those hitch mounted carriers are pretty slick. When I had one I wished I had a side hatch on my canopy like you do.

Also, here's my contribution to the old sleeping in the truck bed pics. 6" thick memory foam cut to the bed's dimensions, full sheet set and a big old duvet. Damn comfortable camp bed.

Brian your setup turned out awesome. Have you posted interior pics anywhere yet?

Also, are you still getting that front end clunk when you flex it? I am trying to sort that problem out and I thought you said you had it too. I'm debating actually taking it to the dealer to see if they can figure it out and I will play the warranty card to try to avoid paying a big diagnostic fee. It even happens now when I make a hard left turn.

image.jpg Sagging badly! Not sure if it shows in this pic but I have a reverse arc in my rear springs. Not much in there. Half a dozen scuba tanks and caving gear, fridge and house battery, food, beer. Half what I would need to carry on a really big trip.

Taken in the Cabela's parking lot in Billings Montana.

Thanks. I haven't posted interior pictures anywhere here. I may have put a few on expedition portal...? I guess I didn't take many or haven't put them on photobucket.

I actually don't recall if I have the noise now. A week ago I installed 4.56 gears and ARB lockers, this required tear down of the front end again, including the differential mounts and all. I don't recall hearing it since then, but I don't remember listening specifically for it. I've removed and re torqued nearly everything up there in the process, including tightening the crossmember bolts and a couple accessible cab mounts.

It may be more than you need, but I have a Shamrock 183 from Forrest River. It has three fold out bunks, so each of my kids can bring a friend without anyone sleeping on the table. Easy to tow, easy to set up. Next week is the maiden voyage with the Tacoma pulling this camper. There are other options with fewer beds.

If you have the V6 with tow package you can pull a small travel trailer with ease.
This one has a full bath.
