No issues towing with mine. Tow package and electronic brake controller and that's it. IMG_6730.jpgIMG_6775.jpg

My wife and I are planning a camping trip down the Oregon Coast in August. Anyone have any suggestions for campsites/attractions etc?

There's a handful of beaches to drive on, that's always fun. There's some OHV dune areas for more advanced fun in the sand. Lots of hiking too. Where are you planning on staying, or how far south are you planning on going? (Feel free to PM me if you want.)

Yeah, really only sleeps two. There are "bunk beds" in the front, but they would really only work for very small kids. The rear of the trailer is a dinette that folds down into the bed, but we just leave it a bed all the time. Pretty comfortable for two and is so light the Tacoma pulls it like a dream.

Theres so many to chose from. I did that road trip last year, southern most point to the northern most point of Oregon and it was all awesome. From "Goonies" in Astoria, aquariums, cheese, breweries, we did it all. Feel free to PM if you want details

My son and I went to Tillamook and Bay City back in March during his spring break, ate at Pacific Seafood in Bay City- Mmmmmm... You can hit the beaches around there, lot's of trucks and Jeeps we're heading out to play that weekend.

That was the last road trip in my old truck and camper.. We picked up an old Farmall on the way back.

There's also an awesome aviation and space museum not too far away. We spent the better part of an entire day there. Really cool place.

Weekend camping plans just got thrown out the window due to some fancy folk visiting a national park... (Just venting, was really looking forward to getting away this weekend...)

Forget those overhyped national parks full of tourists hoping to see the real wild. Go enjoy some of the millions of acres of public lands and not run into a soul for a week. Leave the NPs to the Mercedes and winnebagos.
