Thanks! I made the mounts, see my write-up here. I used Hondo Garage toyota utility track t-nuts to mount the brackets to the bed rail.

Where at in northern WI? I lived in the northern Michigan for 12 years, for awhile I was in the Iron Mountain area. Nice place.

I like that awning, how's it working out in any kind of wind? Obviously you have to stake it out but it's got to be more convenient than stakes and poles.

It survived several trips in decent winds but croaked on our last trip after those photos haha but it’s pretty old and an older design. I also bought it used. They’ve made some improvements to it in future models I think. Company is working with me on a replacement which is pretty awesome.

It was very close to Iron Mountain! Fishing and camping in remote areas along the Brule River.

Lots of coyote talk recently in here. They’re not worth being worried about IMO unless you have small dogs who like to wander with you. They get loud around midnight every time I’m out here, but my dog is smart enough to stay close, and when they sound off she gets in the cab. I sleep in the hammock. Never thought twice about the yotes, they’re too small and chicken to mess with an adult.
