Truck Camping Photo Thread

I use a 3x3m tarp from DD Hammocks that is very robust. I would also recommend a 10x12' tarp from Bushcraft Outfitters. Excellent quality.

Very cool, looks peaceful. Would surely beat hanging out at a campground with 100 of my newest closest friends.

 

One of the truly great things about living in the west. Public land is everywhere here.

Naw, it's fine. He's right. Just a bunch of sand between the midwest and Cali. No reason whatsoever anyone should come see what it's all about.

 

People do but most prefer to live in the woods that border agriculture fields here in Illinois. If I had the money I would love to live in a agriculture field. Only thing farmers here in Illinois don't like selling off a few acres for a man to build a home on. Would be great to stand out on the front porch and not be able to hear your nearest neighbors dog bark. Just the sound of the wind blowing across the prairie.

 

Been there and have no reason to return. Glad you like it out there. Everybody has to be someplace.

 

Yep, you're right. What was I thinking? It sucks out here. Nothing but rattlesnakes, scorpions, and buzzards. Not worth the risk OR anyone's time. People should stay away. Nothing to see but sand. Best to keep safe east of the Mississippi.

 

Time to move to Wisconsin!
