Places that wife and I have been in past 50 yrs. Not all with this trailer though, lol. Hoping we could get to some more US states but C19 intervened. Stuck in Manitoba for now. Man, are the rv parks busy!

You can lay with your head in the back corner and your feet will be between the driver's post, window and drivers seat back. If you are a side sleeper and bend your legs then you have room to sprawl. This is just room for one though. Two would indeed be miserable!

I had a similar idea (minus the AC) for when I want to stealth camp at a ski resort or on a road trip (I don’t have a shell).

built a diagonal sleeping platform for in the cab (post 2)

Is this near L'anse? The view looks familiar.

No, High Rock Bay which is at the eastern most point of the Keweenaw Peninsula, at the very tip. About 8 miles or so past Copper Harbor (and probably a half hour of driving to get there).

Gotcha! It looks like it could be the Huron Bay area. I miss it up there.

It's beautiful up there. This was my first time going past Marquette.

Oh Yeah! Now that is thinking outside the "box"! Much more leg room. I got my idea from a buddy of mine who has a second gen. His front passenger seat lays flat forward, and he built an L-shaped deck covering it all the way to the dash to the rear bulkhead, then across the back seat behind the driver's seat. If the 3rd gen passenger seat would lay forward flat I would have gone that route. He really has the more room.

Or just pour that shit into a nalgene. Sure it's not as elegant, but if it prevents 30 stitches in yours, your kids, or your dogs foot**, isn't it worth it?

**Edit: Changed "food" to "foot". lol

Finally got to take the family camping in Kentucky since we moved out here last summer from California. Nolin River Lake. Love this place.20200818_194806.jpg 20200817_153518.jpg 20200818_080322.jpg 20200818_110633.jpg

CA to KY? That's an adjustment! That scenery looks a lot nicer there than the 7 straight mi. of encampments in L.A. I got outta there 25yrs ago and fled Seattle 6 yrs ago. Never thought I'd like the rural life, but you couldn't pay me to live in SoCal or the Puget Sound area anymore.

We moved from the Sonoma county area. It's just nice to get through a summer without everything being on fire.
