Can you tell me about the storage bin? Looks like it's got a nice big seal on it. I haven't been able to find quite the right bins yet

It was damned cold. 18 degrees as I recall. Luckily, my brother showed up the next night with a truckload of fire wood. He slept in a tent with a heater and I had to keep that fire pit roaring all night lol

My brother and I, along with his boys, used to go every winter. We slept on the ground under the stars, and on ice, most of the time. Awesome memories.

My setup is incredibly basic still, but she does the job!

I camped there several years ago. One of the coolest free campsites! We had the free roaming Bison walk through the campground before sunset.

Was it windy enough to keep the mosquitoes down?

    Oh man…
It’s a craftsman tool box from Lowe’s. Works great, I’m going to pick up another.

Dusk. Getting close to lights out and mimis time... but before that, gotta try out the new grill.

    Nice sunny morning...

Dometic portable battery went from 99% at night to about 85% next morning keeping the fridge powered up. Topped it off to about 96% with the solar panel before we went out to hit the trails.

Gotta try this portable grill if you’re wanting to go get one or upgrade. It’s a bit chunky; although, not too chunky. Weighs about 20lbs, but, hey, it’s car camping/glamping. This trip was its maiden voyage out camping. It did not disappoint. The grilled steaks, asparagus and kielbasas cooked on it were great. Planning on tailgating at work with it sometime, if HR approves.

Mountain Hatch tailgate panel is good for holding other things besides dranks.

Take a look at the Milwaukee Packout series of boxes. They are a bit pricey, however worth all the pennies. They have a very unique locking system

That same storage bin is sold as the 22" Rigid tool box at Home Depot. I use one for my kitchen set up.

When I went, last week, it was fairly windy... definitely windy enough for me to not see a single mosquito. We also had free roam bison come through. I would highly recommend it, especially since it’s a free campsite.
