I have to ask,was this anyone here? Yes i took this picture it is not fake i saw it with my own eyes. It was a white toyota pickup,1st gen, with a canvas truck bed tent all set up in the bed ,driving through the city in Maine( insert redneck joke here) traveling at 35 mph. I followed if for 4 miles and that tent is rugged for sure. LOL

    I want to share….

Took my truck (Topper is a loaner, white one is coming in four weeks, don’t be harsh.) over the current river while camping at Pulltite. The Ferry was closed and the shallow part becomes a crossing point.

Yeah, it was amazing! I originally intended on just camping one night there and moving further north to Pictured Rocks, but there was more to do/see than I thought there would be. Plus, the weather was PERFECT! Pictured Rocks will have to wait...

You are the only person I've ever seen successfully mount the annex on a CVT standard fly. What's the trick?

The CVT is new to me and that’s the first trip I’ve used it on. I had a Tepui with the older floorless three sided annex. Being that it only had three sides and no floor, we just left it permanently attached to the tent. The CVT didn’t seem too bad though. Took me and the wife about 5min to get it attached and staked out. There seemed to be an order to sliding the sections into the channel. I think we started on the right side of the ladder and then worked around to the left side of the ladder.

Perfectly set that alignment up of tent in the bed, those aren't easy to get it just right. I wish they were a little looser.
