    Like, so many.
Can you tell me more about the accommodations? Is that some sort of semi-permanent tent?

I slept in my truck bed under the tonneau. That’s my buddies boat house, it’s a permanent structure but basically just like a storage shed.

Went to Port Burwell, ON for the long weekend with the family. Great weather as it only rained at night which was nice

Joshua Tree with the family. This year was the first time my wife or kids had even been camping. I'm working on getting them into a groove of at least one trip every other month.20210220_070124.jpg

Fishing at Eleven Mile State Park and Spinney Reservoir. No luck on the lakes. Sleeping in the truck was great at 50 degrees.

3 nights in Ouachita National Forest. It is kinda our go to spot, since this particular spot we have used for 15 years and can find it in the pitch black of a moonless night.

The last year or so we have branch off and scouted more of the roads and camps sites that are off the main trailhead road. And have started exploring the Arkansas side as well.

Does this thing pop up, or do you crawl in. I'm intrigued.

Great post! The wife and dog and I are planning a trip down the coast and back up through the Southwest back to Alberta Canada next summer. Couple questions, what's BLM? I'm assuming backcountry? How did you plan you're stops? We are going for 3 weeks with very little planning where to stop. NO hotels/motels and as little campsite spots as possible. We've done lots of us this up here, but state side has me worried. Thanks!

One of the last trips in this truck, traded it in for 2021 double cab sport.

how you like the Habitat? Im on the fence between that or the Alu-Cab Canopy Camper….. my 2 pro’s for the habitat over alu-cab is it appears to have more room up top, and it also creates a natural awning over the tailgate area

The alu cab didn’t even exist when I bought my habitat. If I could do it over again I would have bought the alu cab. I like all the storage that the alu cab has to offer, and how quick set up and break down is. It’s quicker over the habitat.

Get the alu cab and pair it with a 270 bat wing and you can thank me later. :)

also put a set of air bags on either set up.

Correct, as previously advised, BLM stands for Bureau of Land Management. You may have to study up on where you can and can't camp, but our rule of thumb was if there was a fire ring then we were pretty comfortable staying the night. We didn't plan a single night or stop ahead of time. We knew we wanted to drive through some of the National Parks. We used iOverlander and Freecampsites.net to quickly research nearby places to camp for the night. Both have the ability to cache data while offline. Lots of options out there, and I'm sure you'll find some nice spots.
