Brought the tent this time. 3 nights at Zippel Bay State park. Still working on colder weather set up. temps dipping into the mid 20s. when we were expecting about 10 degrees warmer, required some quick thinking.

Spent the weekend at Point Lookout State Park, located on the St. Mary’s Peninsula in southern MD, about 90 miles south of DC on the shore of the Chesapeake Bay, campsite #101. Got to try out my new OzTent RV-3 tent with additional side panels. ENJOY!

Have only had the trailer a couple months now, so only a few initial trips. So far we’ve stayed one or two nights per location. The only limitation would be water. We can carry 21 gallons on trailer, plus a drinking supply. Electricity has proven somewhat indefinite, with 100 watt solar and a double six-volt battery bank. Propane seems to last a long time, too. The darn thing actually wheels moderate AZ trails quite well and is super comfortable to sleep in and cook from.

Would love to follow you in sometime.

I got kinda similar setup, haven't been off-road with it but I'm sure it would handle it just fine. We use a GoalZero YETI 400 connected to a small
car-battery, more like a golf-cart battery to keep power. Solar panels live under the bed should we need to re-charge if no power is available.
I can run my CPAP via 12-v connection for 3-4 nights easy. We did a 16-day trip to Yellowstone pre-covid it was glorious. When power is
available the little a/c unit is real nice... the thing weighs in at around 1,000 pounds. We carry several 1-gallon containers of water, and a
Canyon Cooler, and standard other cooking gear. We run an awning system the wife setup for it too.
For around $5,000 it can't be beat. (Runaway)

    upload_2021-10-25_11-13-43.jpg

This little setup works nice for both on-the-road need a quick cup of coffee or heat up something for lunch / dinner / etc.

Where are you located? I’d be interested in pairing up for a trip. I’m amazed at what it’ll do on the trail. My day consists of, “well, this’ll be interesting.”

From a couple weekends ago in the Truckee / Reno area. Glad we got the last high country moto trip in before the big storm rolled in last weekend.

My backyard, Love it there. Did you take a trip out the back of the canyon to Kelso Valley?

Cool. I’m in Avondale. As in, Westside. “Ooh, scary.” Lots of good wheeling in AZ. What’s good schedule/timing for you to go out?

I don't work anymore - so technically 24x7,,... however,... I am a personal chef to someone ( my wife )...
And I am the A-Number-1 pet dude at the house...

So while technically I can get away anytime, it's not that simple.

If I do get out anytime soon it will be first weekish of November ( no moon ) and I wanna try to get
in some shots like this before the Milky Way goes away for the season.

My wife’s done. I’ve got 14 months. We also work at caring for two mothers.

Going to wheel and camp with my brother and our wives Veterans weekend. He’s Jeep/tent. Have been thinking about the Sky Islands West tour in southern AZ. For the most part, trails should be smooth. Distance can be about 170 miles dirt. Not sure if you’ve been, but southern AZ is very nice.

Yea the milky-way shot I got was down in Ajo - this looks like a nice ride for sure -
Wife is threatening to take Thursday and Friday off so we can load up some lumber and get started
in on part-3 of our out-door-kitchen setup. Final design includes a gas-stove, sink, and wood-fired-pizza-oven
along with cabinets, new overhead fans, and new lighting. If that plan goes south I'll see about meeting up
    with you all.

Added a bunch of stuff. Cut to fit 285 AT3’s
Bet there isn’t a ton of water available there to refill.. we only tend to bring 5 gallons or so and refill as needed via a sawyer squeeze. Do you have a water system onboard? I know that’s one of the major draws for the wife and kids for having a trailer. I’m not looking forward to backing it up if there is a trail that dead ends though.
